Every year, Kelley Blue Book's website (Kbb.com) holds its "Best Resale Value Awards" to honor the vehicles and automakers that retain their financial worth over the years. The awards are based on the projected resale prices found in the Kelley Blue Book Official Residual Value Guide, which is designed to help car-buyers and sellers find an appropriate price for a vehicle-based transaction.
Where are we going with this? Everyone's favorite Japanese automaker, Toyota was recently named the top brand in this year's awards, once again proving that there's no better value on the road today than that found in a new 2011 or 2012 Toyota!
"Winning the top brand in the Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards is a very significant honor as it reflects Toyota's commitment to quality, dependability and reliability, which ultimately adds up to great value," says Bob Carter, group vice president and general manager, Toyota Division. "Toyota will continue to deliver the finest cars and trucks consumers have come to expect for over half a century."1
And deliver them they have! No matter what segment of vehicle you're interested in, Toyota has something incredible to offer. For instance, the Toyota Camry has been the bestselling vehicle in the United States for the last nine years in a row. Not interested in a midsize sedan? The Toyota Tacoma and Toyota Tundra both stand out as top sellers in their classes as well! And these impressive sales numbers are exactly what calculates into high resale demand.
This latest award is only one in a long list that Toyota has raked in because of the incredible quality of their vehicles, and there are sure to be more to come.
